FAIRWIND XPS

The Fairwind XPS system complies with the new specifications and updated regulations for personal protective equipment, CEPPE EU 2016/425. The specifications define standards related to the safety of users of these products and include:

quality of materials used (e.g. use of non-toxic raw materials)
production quality
minimum protection requirements (such as impact forces)
stability
preventing entanglement in lines
release the belt under tension with one hand

Fairwind XPS played a key role in developing and testing the specific requirements and it meets all the design objectives. The construction includes an EPS impact protection layer. This layer contains ventilation channels so even in hot weather the Fairwind XPS can be worn for longer periods.

The nicely designed grids prevent objects from entering the ventilation channels. The hypoallergenic liner can be easily removed for cleaning or replaced when worn. It also serves to set one of the available sizes. The top of the liner can be rotated, keeping the vents open or closed, depending on the air temperature. The ear pads are designed to protect against external noise without disturbing the comfort of the helmet.

Once the belt is fastened, the chinguard provides additional comfort. The quick release buckle can be easily opened with one hand, even under load.

All helmets are made to order and lead time for shipping is typically 2 weeks.
